⚖️ Law Enforcement Arrest Procedure Guide

This is the standardized arrest process used by all Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) in Zenith RP, including Police, Sheriff, Highway Patrol, and National Guard.

Originally developed by the ARMY faction, this guide ensures consistency, realism, and proper roleplay during detainments.

🔐 Arrest Procedure​

Follow these steps to lawfully apprehend and transport a suspect.

  1. Ensure you have handcuffs equipped
    Must be in inventory and ready for use.

  2. Approach the suspect
    Use /me and /do to RP the warning (e.g., “You’re under arrest!”).

  3. Press Z to handcuff
    This disables their movement and indicates compliance.

  4. Press G → Faction (5) → Follow Me (2)
    Forces the suspect to follow you on foot.

  5. Walk them to your faction vehicle
    Keep them secure and RP appropriately.

  6. Press G → Transport (2) → Get into Nearest Vehicle
    Places the suspect in the back seat.

  7. Drive to the Department of Corrections (DOC)

    • Maximum speed: 120 km/h unless under active threat
    • Use sirens and lights when appropriate

  8. Park at DOC & turn off engine
    Required before proceeding with extraction.

  9. Press G → Passenger List (2)
    Select the suspect → Press Enter

  10. Choose Transport (2) → Remove from Vehicle
    Safely extracts the suspect.

  11. Press G → Faction (5) → Follow Me (2)
    Escort them into the DOC building.

🗂️ Documentation Process​

After physical arrest, complete the digital processing.

  1. Open your tablet
    Navigate to:
    Faction → Government Functions → Database for Citizens

  2. Search by Criminal ID
    Select the suspect’s name from the list.

  3. Assign wanted level (stars)

    • Set correct star level based on crimes
    • Write a clear reason for arrest

  4. Close the tablet

  5. Press G → Faction (1) → Give Fine

    • Enter appropriate fine amount
    • Confirm reason for the fine

🚫 If the Criminal Rejects the Fine​

  1. Increase wanted level to 5 stars
    Indicates non-compliance.

  2. Add charge: Failure to Comply
    Document this in the database.

💬 This triggers full detainment and court processing.

🏛️ Final Registration​

  1. Go to Detainee Registration terminal
    Located inside the DOC.

  2. Select Register the Prisoner
    Choose the suspect → Press Enter

  3. Confirm reason for arrest
    Review all details.

  4. Click Send
    ✅ You’ll see a SUCCESS message — arrest is complete.

💻 MDT Process (Final Step)​

  1. Open /mdt by pressing P
    Access the Mobile Data Terminal.

  2. Go to Criminals tab
    Enter the Criminal ID number

  3. Click New Criminal Record

  4. Fill in:

    • Reason for arrest
    • Evidence (attach screenshots or POV recordings)

  5. Sign the document
    Use your official role/name.

  6. Click Create
    Finalizes the official record.

⚠️ Important Notes​

  • 🎥 Always keep your bodycam ON during arrests
  • ✅ Use /me and /do for proper roleplay context
  • 🚗 Drive responsibly — speed limits apply unless in active danger
  • 📸 Evidence is mandatory for MDT records
  • 🔄 All LEO units are expected to follow this standardized flow for consistency
